What personal information do we collect?
Close and Calm Limited collects personally identifiable data when you purchase a carrier, hire a carrier, arrange a consultation or partake in other services we offer, attend a drop in session or contact us via the website, email or the Facebook page, or sign up to our marketing emails.

Why do we collect and use your information?
1) Legal and Contractual Obligations:
We collect data as is required for a completing a transaction, hire, providing a consultation or carrying related advice, and we are required by our insurers (DSC Strand / BGI) to keep Client Records and HMRC to keep transaction details for accounting purposes. Data will be held for 7 years from our last interaction and then either anonymised or securely destroyed. For those who have interacted with Close and Calm Limited in either a volunteer role, or in a contractor capacity, we are required to keep some records of this for insurance purposes until the parties involved are deceased.
2) Consent Based Information
If you voluntary subscribe to our Marketing, then we will collect and use your information to send you updates, offers, products and services provided by Close and Calm Limited. You may opt out of this at anytime by selecting unsubscribe in the emails from us.
Information Sharing and Disclosure:
We use some third party Service Providers in order to provide our services. The services we use, along with their privacy polices and why we use them are listed below:
MyTurn is the software we use for tracking carrier hires, sending out instructions, sending out hire reminders and reserving carriers.
Google Analytics and Google Drive:
Stripe is the payment provider online when you pay by card.
Wix is our website provider.
Paypal is a payment provider online
We use a Facebook page for communications, for advertising and for an online shop - this includes the use of Facebook Pixel
Mail Chimp are the providers for our marketing emails.
Zoom is integrated into the site for creating our one to one appointment links and providing the video conferencing service.
Intuit.com, Accounting Software and External Accountants: We use intuit to help with our book keeping and use external accountants too.
Third Party Virtual Admin.
We may use virtual administration services. If we do all third parties will comply with GDPR regulations.

Norton Security: (for data protection compliance).
Transferring Data outside the European Economic Area:
Google, MyTurn, Mailchimp, Lastpass, Norton and Zoom are all based in the United States of America. Google, MyTurn and Mailchimp have Privacy Shield Certification. Zoom, Lastpass and Norton do not.
Close and Calm Limited aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your personal data.
